Beancurd is made out of soy bean sprouts and contains lots of proteins
and calcium. The taste is neutral, so it can be used for spicy or
sweet and sour dishes. Do not use a very soft beancurd for stir-fried
dishes. It can be baked, fried, grilled or smoked. It is a well
known ingredient for Wok dishes in China, Japan and Thailand and
most of Asia.
